Sergeant SERE Association, Brandon Fountain, was born on May 5, 1991, in the town of Clayton, Ohio. He was the only son of Mr. John Fountain and Mrs. Martha Fountain. Brandon attended Washington Elementary School, Clayton High School, and graduated in 2009. He then pursued his education at the United States Military Academy at West Point and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
In 2013, Brandon joined Air Force Special Operations Command’s 17th Special Tactics Squadron as a Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) Specialist. He was a talented instructor, helping military aviators adapt to challenging combat situations.
On the morning of November 7th, Brandon was found deceased at his residence at the age of 32. His sudden passing has deeply shocked the military community and the town of Clayton.
