William “Cully” Walker, aged 87, of Pine Valley, peacefully passed away on November 8, 2023. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed.
Cully was born on March 12, 1936, in Pine Valley to Peter and Jane Walker. He was the cherished brother of Eric Walker and Meta Jones. In 1957, Cully married his loving wife Audrey, and together they celebrated over 60 wonderful years of marriage.
Cully worked as an accountant and was known for his sharp intellect and wise financial advice. He took great pride in providing for his family. Cully and Audrey raised six children – Elizabeth, Mark, Niall, David, Craig, and Neil. He was a devoted father who instilled strong values and a strong work ethic in his children.
In his leisure time, Cully enjoyed golfing, fishing, and cheering for his favorite sports teams. He had a quick wit and loved making people laugh with his jokes and stories. Cully was a loyal friend who could always be counted on for help and guidance.
Cully lived a full and meaningful life, surrounded by family and friends who adored him. He faced life’s challenges with strength, optimism, and faith. Cully was a humble man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures.
