Wayne Alexander Wreford, age 32, of Stratford passed away suddenly on September 7, 2023. Born in Kitchener, September 24, 1990, son of Raelynn Bender (Fred) and Rob Wreford (Carmela).
Alex is survived by his son Kesington and his mother Brittany. Siblings Andrew (Ashley), Courtney Bender. Uncle to Aaliyah and Sloane. Grandson of Carol Gaebel. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friend Harley Junkala.
Predeceased by son Jaxx in infancy and grandparents Jack Gaebel, Bill and Marnie Wreford.
A celebration of Alex’s life will be held at the Army, Navy and AirForce Veterans Hall, 151 Lorne Avenue, East, Stratford on Sunday, September 24, from 2-4 p.m. with words of remembrance at 3 p.m. Memorial donations in his memory can be made to a trust fund for Kesington (cheques payable to Young Memorials). Alex Wreford’s Obituary: It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alex Wreford, the beloved partner of Harley Junkala. On September 7, 2023, Alex left this world. He will forever be remembered as a kind and devoted father.
Wayne Alexander Wreford, originally from Kitchener, Ontario, attended Stratford Central Secondary School before pursuing his education at Sir Sandford Fleming College. He shared a home in Stratford, Ontario, with his wonderful partner, Harley Junkala, until his passing.
