Amidst the inconsolable pain of loss, the Boothwyn community in Pennsylvania on November 19, 2023, witnessed the sudden and heart-wrenching departure of Andrew Steven Tedesco. At the age of 31, Andrew’s promising life was unexpectedly cut short, leaving an irreplaceable void of grief for his family, loved ones, and friends.
Born in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, in 1992, Andrew was the cherished son of Sherrill (born Frantz) Tedesco and the late Thomas “Timmy” Orlando Tedesco. Growing up amidst the affection of his parents and alongside his two brothers, Matthew Tedesco and Todd Crowley, Andrew was enveloped in the love of his extended family. His warm childhood was marked by fond memories of his grandparents Edwin and Patricia Frantz and poignant reminiscences of his late grandfather, Orlando P. Tedesco, MD.

Life and career of Andrew Tedesco
Throughout his 31 years of life, Andrew remained diligent and devoted to his family, actively striving to better himself. After graduating with distinction from Avon Grove High School in 2011, Andrew was determined to pursue his academic passions. He enrolled at Delaware County Community College and later at West Chester University to further enrich his knowledge.
With a solid educational foundation, Andrew embarked on a career dedicated to societal betterment. Initially serving as a Temporary Relief Caseworker at the Chester County Office of Children, Youth & Families, Andrew passionately assisted individuals facing challenges in reintegrating into the community. Later, with enhanced skills and experience, he proudly assumed the role of State Temporary Relief Caseworker at the Philadelphia office.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Andrew was an active member of the FOP Lodge #11, supporting law enforcement efforts. Additionally, he was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Phillies, and Flyers. Andrew’s passion for sports brought joy to both himself and those around him during his youthful years.
Though Andrew’s life ceased abruptly while still young, we believe he lived a fulfilling and impactful life contributing to society. His contributions and memories will forever remain deeply ingrained in the hearts of those who knew him.

His two elder brothers, Matthew and Todd, along with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other loved ones, now endure an endless longing for a cherished son and nephew.
For his dear girlfriend Bridget, this shock is exponentially painful. She has lost a life partner, a unique confidant. Their promising relationship has now been forever robbed.
