On November 13, 2023, the entire student body and staff of Oktaha Public School will take a day off to attend a memorial service in honor of Nancy Hubbard, who dedicated over 20 years to the field of education at our school.

Born and raised in Oktaha, Nancy always considered our public school her second home. In 1995, she began her career coaching the cheerleading squad and became an integral part of the lives of countless generations of students.
With genuine warmth and a compassionate heart, Nancy nurtured, encouraged, and shared both the challenging moments and the joys of her students. She was not just a coach; she was a second mother, a steadfast source of emotional support for the students. Even after retiring in 2017, Nancy continued to attend and support the school’s sports events.
Nancy’s passing has left a profound void in the hearts of her family, friends, and the Oktaha community. However, her legacy of love, care, and dedication to the younger generation will be forever etched in our memories.
